Monira is currently a Master’s level practicum student completing an MA in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, who is qualified to practice onsite under the clinical supervision of an approved practicum Supervisor.

Her educational background includes a Master of Arts in Social Data Analysis, a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Disability Studies.

Throughout her professional journey, she has worked with diverse individuals, including children, youth, and adults. Her experience extends to engaging with people from various cultural backgrounds and supporting refugees. She is deeply committed to adopting a client-centred approach, ensuring a non-judgmental and compassionate environment in her counselling practice. She strongly emphasizes cultural sensitivity and strives to collaborate with her clients and empower them throughout their therapeutic journey.
