Child Psychology & Parenting

Every child is unique, and parenting doesn’t come with a manual. We work with parents seeking guidance for children struggling with emotions, behaviour, or developmental challenges. Counselling helps families strengthen communication, emotional regulation, and resilience — while supporting parents in understanding and responding to their child’s needs. Some common symptoms include:

  1. Frequent tantrums, irritability, or emotional outbursts

  2. Separation anxiety, nightmares, or fear of school

  3. Low mood, withdrawal, or sudden changes in behaviour

  4. Difficulty focusing, hyperactivity, or academic struggles

  5. Excessive screen use, social withdrawal, or peer conflict

  6. Parenting exhaustion, guilt, or “walking on eggshells” at home

  7. Struggles with limit-setting or inconsistent discipline approaches

  8. Sibling rivalry or family tension after major changes (new baby, move, etc.)

  9. Parental disagreement about discipline or routines

  10. Desire to improve family communication and emotional connection
