Ontario Victim Quick Response Program+ VQRP+

The Ontario Victim Quick Response Program+ VQRP+ provides counselling benefits to victims of crime.

Our counsellors are approved VQRP+ counselling providers and could direct bill for your convenience (you don't have to pay anything). We can also help you apply for the funding.

​

VQRP+ covers both direct crime victim, immediate family member, direct witness, and parent or guardian of a victim who is under 16 years of age.

​

VQRP+ also covers other benefits such as: 

​

1. Crime scene cleanup

-Available within 45 days from the date of the crime.
 

2. Immediate emergency expenses 

-Costs incurred to ensure a victim’s home is secured immediately after a crime.
-Transportation costs for a family member to identify a victim of homicide, or to support a victim who has suffered serious injury.
-Accommodation / meals where the victim or an immediate family member must travel.
-Essential personal care items.
-Available within 45 days from the date of the crime.
 

3. Funeral expenses for victims of homicide

-Available within 45 days from the date of the crime.
