The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) requires registrants to complete 40 professional development hours every 2 years.

The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) requires Certified Canadian Counsellors to complete 36 continuing education credits every 3 years.
