1 min read

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) for couple counseling focuses on helping partners understand and express their underlying emotions to deepen their connection and resolve conflicts. In EFT, couples explore their emotional experiences, attachment patterns, and relational dynamics in a safe and supportive environment. The therapy aims to help partners recognize and validate each other's emotions, develop greater empathy and understanding, and communicate more effectively. Through experiential exercises and interventions, couples learn to identify and express their needs and vulnerabilities, fostering emotional intimacy and strengthening their bond. EFT helps couples transform negative interaction patterns into more positive and loving ways of relating, ultimately creating a deeper and more fulfilling relationship.
